| Check out the new DSC (digital selective calling) radios. These new radios make it possible to make a private boat-to-boat call. More important, these DSC radios can send an automatic “mayday”. When you have registered your radio with the USCG, the “Mayday” will identify your boat and it will also give your location if connected to a Loran or GPS unit. | ||
