Prop check: Time to check for dings and bends on your propeller. Aluminum props, being softer than stainless, tend to ding easier but also can be renewed easier and cheaper. They are more forgiving than stainless. Stainless props are more expensive and less flexible and when you hit an object, because they are harder, the danger is damage to the prop shaft. In most recreational applications, aluminum is probably a better buy as the performance of stainless is only realized in high performance boats.
