24 Rothbilt Classic
.....PRICE JUST REDUCED..... First 24 in the USA. Classic blue with the teak and workmanship you have come to expect form the folks at Rothbilt. Powered with a 250 Suzuki. Manufacturers demo.... a real steal SPECIFICATIONS - Length — 24' - Beam — 8'5" - Draft — 21" - Displacement — 4,400 lbs. - Fuel Tank Capacity—100 gallons - Max. Horsepower — 280 hp Once again RothBiltBoats is venturing further offshore. Based on the success of the RB21 Classic we have designed and are currently building the RB24 Classic. This boat has similar lines to the RB18 and RB21 but has been designed to venture further offshore for a day trip or more. The boat boasts a 22 degree deadrise at the transom and a very deep entry. A widening chine (its widest at entry) makes for a comfortable, dry ride. We have also added some more amenities for customer comfort. A head in the center console, a helm seat/leaning post with custom storage features and custom teak accents making this our best effort yet. We undertook a unique testing procedure for this boat. While many builders make models and use test tanks we actually built a cold molded plug and undertook extensive real time testing in the Baltic Sea in the month of December 2005. The owners, designers and builders spent numerous days in varying conditions to insure the performance characteristics we know our customers demand. The result is a rugged (built to 50 knot specifications), stunning (lapstrake hull, teak outfitting) and fast (52 mph with a single 250 Four Stroke Suzuki) boat.

TRAILER TIME... No boating now for most of us in the northeast so lets take time to look at our trailers and make sure they are 100%. Check the tire pressure. Look for any deformations; bubbles, cracks, chunks of rubber missing, bald tires. Next, if you have brakes, make sure they work. Check the fluid reservoir for fluid level. Look at the manufacturers specs for that level. Check the hubs for wear and grease. Think about installing "bearing buddies" for extra protection. And last but not least, check to make sure your lights work. Look at the wire connections for any possible corrosion. You might consider carrying spare bulbs.
